Shahin

Shahin was born in Iran and moved to Connecticut when he was a teenager. He attended cosmetology school in New York City and then continued his education in Paris and London. After working in Europe, he envisioned bringing the chic and upscale vibes of the European salon experience to Connecticut. Salon Shahin opened its doors in 1994, with Shahin’s philosophy that hair is a huge part of how we feel, how it identifies us and that with a good hair day, we can take on the world. He is proud of the family he has created at the salon, a team that works together and shares the same passions and ideals about the industry. He is known as a master hair designer, who creates effortlessly chic styles that stand out from the crowd.
